| We flew to Madang and stayed overnight. One of the guys on our team spent many years there with SIL so he was able to show us around and reconnect with some old friends. After sweating for two weeks in the heat and humidity of the village, riding around in the back of a pickup with the cool night sea breeze felt great. | ![]() |

The next day we went to the airport for the flight to Port Moresby, where we spent one night. I enjoyed watching rugby with the Australians in our guesthouse. Early the next morning we flew out to Brisbane. |
